A colored hose reel company has beeu orgauized in Pavie Town numbering eighteen members. The northern nianiifaclunrs are wel comed with open arms in every commun ity which they ch ose to enter but at the same time Ihe South is going ahead and h.iihling mills without ih pending on the in coming cf outside men ami capital. There is capital enough in New Bjrnc to cslablish a hundred llioiisand dollar mill easily if ihc right nu n were to make up their mill !s lo do so and we h ipe thev will. As ihe plans upon which it is proposed to establish the New Berne factory is to be presented at t lie next meeting for con sideration, amendment (il desind) and ratification, the nncting will be a most important one.
